Greetings,
I asked the question on 3/21/2007 but had problems uploading the image. Can
someone please identify this pitcher? Also, does it mean anything that it is
stamped Patent Pending? There is very small, tight hairline crack near the
opening but other then that the piece is in good shape. What would be the value
of the pitcher?
Thanks Again,
Marie

Hi, I hope I uploaded the images correctly and sorry if I did not! I was given a Red Wing Pitcher as a gift and find it curious that on the bottom it reads, "Patent Pending." I wonder if you have any information about this particular desgin, when it was made, est. value, etc. I can't seem to find anything about it. There is one inch, very tight crack/line around the rim and the only other flaws are those shown at the bottom of the piece. The inside is not pristine white either but darkened, I think from age. Thank you, Marie

Marie - during the 1930's Red Wing made a few pitchers and tea pots that didn't
go with any pattern. Your pitcher is one of this type. They made a bunch of
"Streamlined" pitchers, casseroles and tea pots but obviously they didn't go
over very big as there are few in existance to day. Your little pitcher is
valued at from $65 to $80 in mint condition.
