Sandie you have a canteen that Red Wing made for the Pierron Pottery sales outlet in Milwaukee WI. Pierron at one time made their own stoneware but later stopped production and sold Red Wing products. It is kinda rare to find them still with the chain and cork intact. Often they are missing. In perfect condition your canteen is worht $850-900 or so. Steve L
