Ron Birch Leaf crocks date from about 1895 till 1908 or early in 1909 when the wing was used. They can be found with the ear handles or without handles. None to my knowlege ever had the wooden and metal handles. It is difficult to place a value on a damaged piece as damage is such a subjective matter with each collector. To the purist any damage is unacceptable. Most of us however will accept some level of damage as perfect pieces are very difficult to come by. Yours with damage would be worth about $100. Without damage it would be worth about $125 or so. If the oval was a Minnesota Stoneware oval it would easily be worth $1500 plus!! Steve L.
