I found the following while going through a neighobrs garage. I'll do my best to describe it. It's a stoneware weight that you would put on top of kraut or pickles in a crock while they're fermenting or whatever they do. It's flat and round, about 18 inches across with a two inch rim...looks like a big dog dish but it has one inch holes in about 6 places along the bottom. Do you know what it would be called? Also, it says right on it that that it fits a 20 gallon crock. I haven't found any numbers on it but its still pretty grimmy.
