Jmnola -- In 1942 Red Wing came out with a line called The Hand Painted Series. It was made from Stoneware clay rather than pottery clay. It came in three patterns, Rose, Fruit and Incised Peasant. Each pattern had three pieces, a cookie jar, a munch jar and a salad bowl. The salad bowl was the only one marked with the old Red Wing with the scrolled line under the word Red Wing. The patterns came in three back ground colors, brown, green and white. Your bowl is valued at from $25 to $50. I guess Red Wing thought that three was their lucky number in 1942.
