Steve, Thank you so much for your quick response. I have attached the photos of the Crock in question. Below, I have answered the questions you asked. Let me know if you need more information. I am so grateful for your assistance. Respectfully, Frankie Powell Does the jar have a wing? On the opposite side of the Crock, just below the rim, there is a faint-like (faded), light blue colored, emblem. The size is approximately '3 inches' diameter (+/-). I cannot make it out. I am certain that it is not a Wing, based on photos from books and your website information. It is not a complete circle and is either two 'trumpet hornlike' drawings back to back; or it could be the remains of a large size, number '5' with only the bottom portion still showing. Is it tapered on the bottom with a hole at the end of the taper? Yes, it is tapered and 'funnel-like'. The hole is at the end of the taper resembling the opening of a wine bottle. Or is the jar tapered inside to the bottom? Or is it straight sided and has a hole in the side? The inside is tapered as well as the outside, also. There is not a hole on the side. What does the lid look like? does it have a design on the lid? The lid has a 'Daisy Pattern' ('guessing' because it is flower-like, with 8 petals and the metal and wood handle in the center). Is it stamped self draining jar on the side? Yes, the label reads "Perfection Sanitary Self Draining Jar". Is there any damage at all anywhere? Small chips, cracks or hairlines? There appears to be a couple of hairline cracks at each side of the handle connection area. I can barely feel the lines with my fingernail, when I slide it over the area. The inner side of the Crock appears to have some sort of patch along an area that could be a similar crack. However, there is no visible evidence of the same, from the outside, bottom.
