Queennantodd - I can't tell you what year it was introduced but in 1931 there were 74 different designs of Brushware, most with a Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. on the bottom. The bowl you have is called a "Bulb Bowl" and it came in 5 sizes from 5 1/2 inches to 9 1/2 inches. It is valued at from $35 to $50.
