I happened to find your website and would like to ask for your advise of where I might start the search to find Redwing mixing bowls from Slack & Young's General Store ( era 1930 ) from Bassett, Iowa. The inscription at the inside base of the bowl reads ' It pays to mix with Slack & Young Bassett, Iowa ' Mr. Slack was my wife's grandfather and they gave these away as gifts before the store closed in the great depression. We have seen the advertising used for other general stores and locations so it was a common design. We're looking for bowls in any condition.
