Adblair -- You didn't say what the dish pattern was. Some of Red Wings dish patterns had solid colored hollow ware. (serving pieces) For instance "The Lotus Pattern" had a solid bronze color and the only pattern was on the plates, platters and bowls. I have 5 such pitchers on my computer desk in 5 different colors 4 of which are for the Quartette pattern the other being Lotus.
