Babybeesknees --- You are giving away your age with that name. I doubt any of the youngster remember that old saying. Of course this gives away my age too. Flight is a very desired pattern. The reason there is none around is that it is part of the "Cylinder" line that was introduced in 1962, this was just before Red Wing came out with the "Like China" in 1963. The next pattern didn't come untill 1967 the year the pottery closed. It evedently didn't sell well over the years it was produced. This does nothing but increase the value of pieces that are on the market. Plates book for $80 to $100 and the 10" salad bowl are now selling at over $200. Tea Pots are almost unheard of but sell in excess of $300.

If you have a quite a few pieces, you should get Ray Reiss's "Red Wing Dinnerware Price and Identification Guide". If you can't get ahold of one in one of the antique shops in St. Paul or Minneapolis you can get one by calling Ray Reiss at 1-800-355-2324. They are $12.95 plus $1.55 shipping.
