My mother recently passed away and we've been told that the Rookwood tiles in her fireplace hearth are of value. The tiles are approximately 6" by 12". There are two tiles, one is a victorian era male and the other is a woman. The coloration is a goldish brown. We've recently sold her house which is not valued high. But we believe these tiles are of value can you help? How could we determine the correct value and where could we go to inquire about a buyer? By the way, she lived in Cincinnati which is the home of the Rookwood Pottery foundery.
