On a related topic... During my recent visit to Houston, TX I found a Metropolitan Museum outlet store in the Galleria (a very large, expensive mall in Houston). I took my d-cam in to get some images of the new T&C dinnerware for the site but the curator would not allow me to take the pics. I was very disappointed about the pics but did manage to get a little flier telling of the new production. I’ll scan the paper and get it on the site ASAP.
Does anyone know of some existing images from the Met on the web? The least we can do is link to some images.
As for pricing of the set… the most expensive piece was the white-bodied tea pot with black lid at $50. Seems to me the dinner plates where around $20-$25. They didn’t have the Shmoo S/P in stock at this store but the sales lady said they had plans to come out with them very soon due to a huge interest in them.
