I just purchased a 3 Gal. Imperial Red Wing Jug at a garage sale. Didn't know anything about Red Wing, but purchased it because it was a nice jug at a great price. I learned a great deal about Red Wing from your website , but would also like to know if the Imperial mark means that these jugs were exported from the U.S. to Canada since we have Imperial gallons here. Also, can you tell me approximate value as I am interested in selling it. It is in great condition with a little chip on the underside and it is corked. From looking at the different pictures of the ovals on your website, the one that I have appears to be from the 1917 to 1918 years. I understand that the jugs with the imperial marks are rare as per your reply to Alicia. This imperial is right side up. Great website. Thanks, Jim
