This is certainly an interesting point for speculation, and it comes up fairly frequently. No one knows for sure, but the jugs marked with the incised H on the back all look substantially different than any signed Red Wing jug. I therefore feel these are NOT Red Wing.
The Hallum speculation is appealing, though these have been seen with various other letters, for example an A and a D. These initials could represent other potters, though not necessarily employed at Red Wing Stoneware Company.
There sure are a lot of those jugs around, and it would be great if they turned out to be Red Wing, but as of yet I don't believe they are.
