Congratulations on finding us so quickly!
You've got a crock I've never heard of. I'm not sure what the "special" refers to. A picture sure would help. The "potteries" oval tells us this was made after 1939.
As to selling it, eBay (www.eBay.com) would be the best choice. This allows you nation wide exposure for selling. Make sure to list it under Pottery, Red Wing and Rumrill. You'll need a digital camera in order to provide pictures for bidders to look at. You'll also need to think about shipping/delivery of such a large item.
