Your Ice Water cooler definitely could have come with a wooden spigot. If the spigot hole is reinforced, it was designed to accept a wooden spigot. The later coolers with a plain hole were designed to be used with a metal (nickel) spigot.

As for value, a rough estimate is +/- $750.
