Kathrine -- "Provincial" was re-introduced by Red Wing in the early 1960's, having been first introduced in 1941. The little covered bowl you have is called a "Marmite" and comes with or without a handle . Provincial Dinnerware, when it was introduced had the following set composition and price: 12 piece set......$8.95 24 piece set.....$16.95 36 piece set.....$24.95 This pattern has not maintained much of a following so it has not maintained much of an increase in value. The Casserole does require a lid and with out it it is only value at about $12 to $15 depending on the size. There are 3 sizes and the Marmite is valued about $12 to $15 in mint condition.
