I recently acquired a stoneware cookie jar that is approximately 5 inches tall. It has a raised rim with two blue bands under it. In between the blue bands is a brown sponge design. The lid also has these markings.The front of the jar is stenciled with the word"cookies"is blue cursive lettering. The mark on the bottom is a blue circle with the lettering MADE IN RED WING. Can anyone give me some background or information regarding the value of this piece?
