I will assume everyone has seen the thread below on the topic of weather or not red wing made rolling pins back in the day-
If you read Rusty's last post it basically says that that RW made the rolling pins and Western Stoneware did not- now I am no scholar, but I know for fact that WS made them, evidence from Betty Cooper herself, the author of The western/Monmouth Stoneware book- and Long time employee and historian of the WS company- I know wally and Gary both have stated in the archives of this posting list that RW did NOT make them for production- (including the thread below) to be honest I would like a definite answer on this topic, I have seen way to many ads and opinions on this topic to let it go without a good discussion, I have absolutely no problem in saying that RW did not make them, and that WS was the producer of the Advertising and plain pins with either rust or blue bands on the ends-
anyone want to engage in this discussion, or ad any insight to the topic?
