Christine, It looks like wally read your post too quickly and responded wrong. Sorry about that. Okay, first Cheryle is an ebay seller who sets a great example, one to be followed by all. She always describes her items corectley, packs them very well, and goes out of the way to help people, as noted in her above reply. She is also a frequent contributor to this website, and goes out of her way to help red wing collectors. I have had three USPS insurance claims, and it has always been my job to fill out the paperwork. It is standard procedure for buyers to file the claim. In addition, RWSW makes these pins as decorator items, not to be used, nor are they designed to stand up to mishandling by the post office. This leaves the post office as the only cause of the problem, not rwsw or hasone. It is not fair to blame RWSW or cheryle for the problem. They must have mishandled the package, and did not want to fess up to it. As for the 30 day thing, I have only had the post office pay out in 30 days once, it is not a fun process! Next time, I suggest you try another post office because this one seems unusially difficult, sorry about your experence it is the exception, not the rule.
