Carol --- I just took a look at a picture of your vase and it is one of the finest that Charles Murphy designed. In December of 1940 Charles Murphy went to work for Red Wing Potteries as a designer and in 1942 went into the service. Between the time he went to work and when he went in the service he designed your piece. That type of pattern is called "Labrigo" and Red Wing used it in the early thirties on some bowls, cookie jars and munch jars. Your vase is finished in "Egg Shell Ivory" on the outside and "Luster Elfin Green" on the inside. And here is the good part -- It is valued at from $80 to $110."
