I just purchased a sponged Saffron Bean Pot. Can you give me information on how to determine if it is a true Red Wing piece. It looks exactly like the one pictured in the 2000 value and price guide "Red Wing Stoneware", by DePasquale, Peck, and Peterson. Is Saffron ware lighter than stoneware? Is this being reproduced?
