I inherited a set of Red Wing dinnerware, mainly just several sizes of plates and cups/saucers, which I've just identified via your site as Gypsy Trail- Chevron. With the set were some accessory pieces that I do not see listed on your site for this pattern and I'm wondering if they are Red Wing pieces from a different pattern or not Red Wing pottery at all (although the colors seem to match perfectly). They are little covered "bowls" or serving pieces in the shape of an apple or a pear. I have 2 of each shape in Royal Blue (1), Yellow (2) and Turquoise. The colors and material, as I say, seem to match the Chevron plates but they do not have the plate's pattern on them at all. Can you identify these for me?

One more question, the yellow pieces are all very discolored. Apparently their quality or finish was inferior for the yellow pieces? Anything I can do to restore these to a nicer appearance?

Thanks so much,

Sue
