Wenkb007--- What you have is a "Eureka" chicken feeder. Years ago before refrigeration the farmers would let surplus milk sour and then skim the cream off and make butter out of it and then they would let the milk clabber (like in curds & whey) and then they fed it to the chickens in these feeders. I think if you notice the end with the legs is a little higher so that everything moved down to the other end. If you go down to the antique mall on Wenatchee Avenue you will find a book "Red Wing Collectibles" and it will be on page 59.
