William--- What you have is the "Swirl Pitcher" from the Plain Pattern of Red Wing dinnerware. It was introduced in 1935 and was produced into the early 40's. It is valued at from $35 to $65. Being cobalt blue you may get a little more as it is a prefered color by collectors.
