Hi Pat--- I am glad you like the site. There has been a lot of hard work by everyone concerned getting it this far.
You are right in that the "Anniversary" shape was introduced in 1953 to commemorate Red Wings 75th year in business. There are 6 patterns in that shape. Capistrano, Driftwood, Pink Spice, Country Garden, Midnight Rose and ofcourse Tweed Tex. Pink spice, which came out first in lavender, has always been the leading pattern followed by Capistrano and latley they are being pushed by Country Garden. Tweed Tex and Midnight Rose have been following close be hind.(sounds like a horse race). I only have one piece of Tweed Tex but I only collect Pitchers, Servers, and Tea Pots.
