Jeff - Red Wing Dinnerware doesn't require any different care than any other dinnerware. I feel that Dishwashing machines are hard on all dishes but it takes a lot of washing to do any noticable damage. Just be careful that you don't bang them together because they have a tenancy to break when you do. Been there done that.
