David -- My understanding of the situation is that a mold making company sold these molds to about every pottery company in the world. I have also been told that Red Wing only sold cookie jars with the band of sponge around the middle and the sponge lids. I have no way of proving either statement as all the Red Wing records have been destroyed. If you want them to be Red Wing then maybe they are.
