Hi Gary, This beater bowl?? is taking on a life of it's own! I'll try to do better describing it. As I said it's about 6" high and 5" across. It is a cream colored back ground with blue and rust sponging on it. It does not have a lip for a lid. It is in perfect condition. no chips cracks etc. It has indentations on the sides.The dealer that made the offer from a photo said if the blue was a deeper blue, he'd pay 1000. for it. Frankly I'm beginning to get attached to it, I've looked at it so much. Anyway I'm no longer using it as a pen holder. (just in case) I didn't solicit an offer on it. A friend showed a dealer in Minn a picture of it. My friend sold a cracked one like it for 300. I really appreciate your help on this. It's fun on my part to try and solve the mystery.
