Hi Gary, About the beater bowl, I don't know if it is a beater bowl, that's just what someone told me. It looks similar in finish to the larger sponge ware bowl in quick view. It is 6" tall and 5" wide at top. It doesn't appear to have every had a lid. It has a logo for a mercantile store in Ndak stamped inside on the bottom. It has Red Wing then USA stamped on the bottom. Stay away from those ball games, can't be good for your blood pressure. I will buy the guide you suggested. It just seems strange someone would seek me out to buy this bowl!! thanks for your help.
