I've purged a significant number of archived posts from both AW/G and Wing Talk. Here are the before and after stats...
AW/G - Had 2588 posts dating back to 28-Jan-1998. Removed posts to 31-Aug-1998 leaving 1521 posts.
Wing Talk - Had 1313 posts dating back to 24-Jan-1998. Removed posts to 31-Aug-1998 leaving 604 posts.
I hope this speeds things up. If not, I'll talk to our server managers to see what they think is the problem.
