It does seem to take a long time. I think that is why we seem to be seeing more multiple copies of the same message. I hate to see the archives purged because I usually search them for answers before I post a question.
I have seen a slow response time on Wing Talk as well.
It should be possible to get rid of many of the items without destroying useful information. If there is a way that I could help let me know.
