Well, I still consider them to be fancy jugs. They are called "round top turned shape jugs" in the circa 1920 Red Wing Line advertising folder, which we show on page 138 of Red Wing Potters & Their Wares. Does this mean that they officially are, or are not considered to be fancy jugs?
Once you've figured that one out to your satisfaction you can ponder this one: If your grandmother's cat delivered her litter in the oven of the kitchen wood stove, does that mean the kittens are biscuits?
