Hi Gary- My grandparents gave me a 15 gallon butterfly salt glaze crock- it came with a beautiful salt glazed lid- The lid has a continuous inter-connecting leaf pattern circling the lid. I have never seen a mention or a picture of a lid like this for a large piece of salt glaze crock. Could this be a mismatch? Have you ever heard of a lid like this? It seems to be a perfect fit.- Also, how rare is an oval-less crock? I have a 3 gallon with a 4" wing but no oval. Thanks for your help, Carter
