You're right bruce, the bottom half of the wing-decorated jug is not tapered nearly as much as the earlier fancy jugs and the top comes down farther below the radius of the dome. The photo doesn't make it obvious, but there is a bead at the joint where the two pieces were joined. It isn't as prominent as it typically is on the earlier pieces. We have seem earlier jugs where this bead is flattened, so that's not so unique.
