Hi Guys -- I had the oportunity today to talk to Byron Gunderson who is the expert on Rumrill. He said that Ivanhoe was introduced in February, 1937. The best he could remember it consists of 3 sizes of plates. cup and saucer, salt and pepper, cream and sugar, water pitcher, beverege server. The water pitchers came in two sizes and the band of laurel leaves went one way on one size and the other direction on the other.
They also came in, he thought, six different colors most of which were a pale pastel. They were Yellow, Orange, Light green, darker green, torquoise, and dark blue, with the blue and the orange being the only brilliant colors. He didn't mention a platter or a bowl but the picture on page 28 of Ray Reises book shows a place setting with a bowl that resembles a Cheveron footed custard cup. The text under thae pictures on page 28 indicate that there were more colors such as Ivory, and Suntan which indicats a tan, so that would make it being produced in 8 colors. Byron said he hadn't been looking at Wing Tips because he has a new baby but will try to look more often.
