I searched the archives and didn't find the answer to my question -- please forgive me if it has already been answered. I have collected a mostly complete set of Lexington Rose dinnerware. Some have red Redwing marks, some have blue Redwing marks (two cups are dated), and one or two pieces have an "RW" without the classic wing. It is my understanding that Lexington Rose was only produced for a short period, between 1947 and the early 1950s. Why would there be so many different markings? And, which are oldest? Thanks for your help.
