seems one can't go to an antique shop or flea market w/o seeing dozens of RW crocks in sundry sizes. My question is what where they used for? why would someone need a 2, 3,...40 gal crock 70 years ago?
it would also appear that the supply of the crocks far outstrips the demand. i almost never see anyone carting off a crock from an antique show.
