Kwind - Capistrano is part of the Anniversary shape and was introduced in 1953, the 75th annversary of the Red Wing Pottery. There are 6 patterns in this shape: Capastrano, Country Garden, Driftwood, Midnight Rose, Pink Spice, and Tweed Tex. Pink Spice was the imediate front runner with the others in close persuite. In the years that followed the closing of the pottery this shape has started to pick up in value and for one reason or another different ones have had surges. Right now Country Garden is the hot pattern and you never know what is going to take off next.
