I have a crock which has the number "2" written in blue, and has what I have been told to be a lazy "8" with a swirl. On the bottom in raised letters is "Red Wing, Minnesota Stoneware 100." It has no other markings. The inside of the crock appears to be painted in black. My mother in law used the crock to pickle cucumbers many years ago. I would like to know the approximate date the crock was made. I also have a small crock but has no markings. Could it too be a Red Wing? Finally, I have another crock with the number "3", a small red wing, and Red Wing Stoneware on it. Can you tell me a little about it? Thank you.
