Nirah - I think all Red Wing is dishwasher safe, but It is a good idea to check it out if you want to use it in the microwave. Some of the glaze and some of the clay Red Wing used gets a little hot in the microwave. This is true among pieces of the same set because not all pieces were made at the same time and of the same material.
