Lliefke-- There are two or three things on the market that will do the job but how much damage they will do I couldn't tell you . Clorine seems to damage the glaze if you don't get it cleaned out completley and you need to soak it for a day or two. Amonia will also do the job if you put a little in the wash water. For hard stains and rust I use some stuff called CLR(brand name). That stands for Calcium, Lime, and Rust. It works great and doesn't damage the glaze. You should be able to get it at your local hardware or super-market. Gary might have something different to use.
