Byron-- I can't answer the main question but the other questions about the vase can be answered in Rays Book on pages 17 & 18 and in Garry's book on page 92-93. Yes there are copies of the vase and many variations of it. The mold number is 105. The copies were made in 1926 and the original was made in 1887. the mold number 106 was used again in 1961.
