Dear Gary,
After your big write up about the Un-Pohl-Pot highlighted in the Rare-Room of the last RWCS convention I have become very cautious about allowing mis-information of Red Wing on Wing Tips (if only after the fact), hence this statement / question...
If you haven't noticed already, there's a Cleveland Vase advertised in the Stoneware for Sale section of Wing Tips that is self-pronounced "One-Of-A-Kind" and has an asking price of $25,000. I thought that the original was given to President Cleveland as the train passed through Red Wing but that reproductions were made afterward.
My questions to you are:
1 - Was there only one cleveland vase produced?
2 - If reproductions were made, about how many?
3 - How could we tell if this vase is the "Original" if others were made?
Your reply will certainly play a role in how long that ad is allowed on the site!
