Hi Ben and Company,
I recently acquired a "Village Brown" 60-oz water pitcher that looks like Green in every way except, of course, the color. It has the brown lid, and a finial on top. I was reasonably sure it was Brown, but I wanted to be sure, since I was going to list it on my web site. I described it to Jan at Hill Street Antiques in Red Wing. Her advice was -- as usual -- excellent: "Call it Village Brown. We Red Wing collectors do not hesitate to correct each other!"
