Bmeyers-- You sure came to the right place for this question. I have 8 different Lotus vases in the H-500 series. I have been in a big hassel with numerous people about the H before the number. I believe it stands for Freddie Hucheson and others say it is for hand painted. If so why is it stamped Hand Painted in red on the bottom. You evedently are not a member of the Red Wing Collectors Society or you would have seen my grouping in the NewsLetter a few years ago.
As for value, I purchaced my H-505 in Rochester, MN about 5 years ago and I paid $79 for it then but wouldn't take less than $250 for it now.
