I have a 15gal RWjar and bail lid. It has a whole on the front below the oval with a nickel valve and a whole on the right side 2'' from the top that holds a brass valve with a glass ball with a Pat May 16 1916 on it . It looks like a toilet float. I know it came out of the local pharmacy soda fountain. Don't know what it was used for. Any help on this would be helpful. What do you think it could be worth? Lid is in good shape no chips or cracks. Some flaws in glaze though. Jar has a very faint hairline that does't go through about 4'' long to the right of the 4'' wing. No handles on the jar
