Great Photos! This past weekend Bonnie & I traveled to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the Wisconsin Chapter Meeting of the RWCS. Since we arrived an hour before the meeting was to start, we sought out a local antique mall to browse. In one of the first showcases was a 7-inch cap bowl in white with blue bands. It was an amusing coincidence that your question within a week previous had led to my disertation on how I felt that these were undervalued "sleepers". So, we bought it for $60, figuring that it might bring twice that.
During the Show & Tell portion of the meeting I told of how we had picked up this "rare" cap bowl for $60 just before the meeting started. To our unlimited amusement, a couple at the next table displayed an identical bowl that they had purchased an hour earlier than us, in the same mall, for $30!
