I'm sorry for being so long in answering. I didn't realize how long it had been since I checked the site. (I must lead too exciting of a life!) Stoneware isn't as suceptible to damage from bleach as lower-firing earthenware bodied pottery because of its lower porosity which allows less bleach to penetrate and from its greater strength which allows it to better resist spalling as the bleach crystals expand. But, why risk it? Soaking in clear water will help dilute the bleach and wash it out. If you can submerge the piece in water for several days you should be doing a sufficient job.
