Today I purchased a butter churn with a marking that is difficult to read. The churn itself has some type of circular blue print emblem which has one solid line around the outside, six or more small (a little less than .25") stars immediately inside this line and then another line inside of that. It is impossible to tell what was printed in the middle of this design. Edge to edge, the emblem measures just a little over two inches. Immediately below this emblem is the number "3". There are no visible markings on the bottom. The churn itself stands some 13.5 inches tall and is of a unique design with a stoneware handle (like a jug) at the top right hand side (if facing the emblem) and a small attached lip like handle about 4 inches from the bottom on the left hand side. I am wondering if you can tell me anything about the origin of this piece. Thanks!!
